Archroma is looking for an experienced HR leader to oversee our North American operations, aligning regional initiatives with global priorities to support business objectives. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape strategic HR policies, champion diversity and inclusion, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture. Position Summary

As the Head of HR - North America, and reporting directly to the CHRO, you will be responsible for the execution of the full scope of HR activities including support of Commercial Strategy, HR Operations, Employee Engagement, Total Rewards Leadership Development, Talent Mobility, Culture Change Management and Employee Relations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for the execution of the full scope of HR activities in Region (Recruitment, Labor Relations, Employee & Management Development, Remuneration, etc)
  • Direct the implementation of Global and/or Regional HR policies and initiatives; Execute and administer processes within the local legal framework
  • Be an employee advocate and focus on engagement levels and compliance; Develop initiatives to assess, measure, diagnose and improve employee morale, engagement and organizational health
  • Provide expert advice to senior management and their teams on a range of individual and collective HR issues in accordance with company policies, procedures and ‘Best Practice’ to deliver solutions on employment issues.
  • Drive operational efficiency through effective budget management, resource allocation, and process improvement
  • Coach managers in performance management activities such as giving performance feedback, conducting annual performance appraisals, identifying and attending to under performance
  • Act as a cultural ambassador by leading efforts to transform organisational culture and align with Archroma's values

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • At least 5 years HR leadership experience, including managing within complex, matrix organizations
  • Knowledge of local employment laws, labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Good conflict management, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of management across all departments
  • Must be a confident communicator, (including both written and verbal) and able to effectively present to all levels of the organization
  • Competence in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a strong results/goal orientation
  • Ability to manage in a changing environment and deal with ambiguity
  • Ability to lead transformational change, align cross-functional teams, and achieve business outcomes

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Psychology, or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications (e.g., SHRM) are a plus
