Laboratory Technician
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing application and performance evaluation of chemical additives related to the paper industry while maintaining accurate records of experiments, writing reports, and communicating results to customers, sales department and technical team members.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a safe manner within a laboratory environment.
- Conduct customer service lab projects that involve wet-end, surface and coating chemicals with the pulp and paper industry.
- Maintain timely and accurate records of experiments, formulate reports, and communicate results and insights.
- Compare Archroma products to competitive products.
- Prepare customer promotion packages that demonstrate Archroma's benefits.
- Gain proficiency with lab equipment providing maintenance and repair as required.
- Arrange shipment of chemical samples for domestic and international shipments.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Experience in designing and executing application experiments and analyzing data.
- Familiarity with the pulp and papermaking process and proficiency in using lab equipment related to the paper industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
